Dream Girl 2 Box Office Collection Day 1: Ayushmann Khurrana, Ananya Panday Starrer Shines on Opening Day Amidst Battle With ‘Gadar 2’ And ‘Jailer’; Mints Rs 9.70 Crore

On its initial day, 'Dream Girl 2' raked in ₹9.70 crore in earnings, contending with the competition posed by 'Gadar 2' and 'Jailer.' The significant contribution of approximately 60 percent to the film's overall first-day revenue came from the collaboration of three major national cinema chains—PVR, Cinepolis, and INOX.

Amongst the intense competition from ‘Gadar 2’ and ‘Jailer’, ‘Dream Girl 2’ tells the story of Karam's transformation into Pooja after a life-changing event.

Sunny Deol's ‘Gadar 2’ earned an impressive ₹35 crore on its opening day, while Rajinikanth's ‘Jailer’ surpassed that with a staggering ₹44.50 crore collection within India. ‘Gadar 2’ secured the title of Bollywood's biggest opening in 2023, succeeding ‘Pathaan’.
