‘Fukrey Returns’ has now entered the prestigious 100 crores club!
In just two weeks run ‘Fukrey Returns’ managed to do a worldwide business of Rs.102 crores.

The year 2017 saw a number of failures. Where movies of biggies like Shah Rukh and Salman couldn’t create much magic, some small films out of the blue became successful. One such film is ‘ Fukrey Returns ’, the sequel to the 2013 sleeper hit, ‘ Fukrey ’. The film released on 8th December 2017 and did exceptionally well at the ticket windows. In just 2 weeks run the movie made its place in the prestigious 100 crores club. In its 14 days run, it managed to garner worldwide collections of Rs 101.78 crore (Rs 93.02 crore gross coming in from the domestic market and Rs 8.76 crore gross from the overseas markets). Made on an overall budget of Rs. 30 crores, FR has turned out as one of the most profitable movies of the year.
Speaking to a leading daily, Richa Chadda aka Bholi Punjaban expressed her joy and gratitude and said, "The entire team is overjoyed. I feel glad for my director (Mrighdeep Singh Lamba) because he deserves all the success."
Her co-star, Ali Fazal , adds, "Crossing the 100-crore mark is just a milestone for the soothsayers of Bollywood. I want to thank the entire team of Excel (the production house) and my brilliant producers Ritesh (Sidhwani) and Farhan (Akhtar) sir for always being there for us."
Helmed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba , ‘ Fukrey Returns ’ features, Richa Chadda , Ali Fazal , Varun Sharma , Manjot Singh , Priya Anand and Pankaj Tripathi in lead roles and made on a budget of 30 crores, the movie made a profit of 343.33%.
