Gadar 2 Box Office Collection Day 5: Sunny Deol - Ameesha Patel Starrer Film Crosses Rs 200 Crore On Independence Day!

Box office results for ‘Gadar 2’ on Tuesday, showed that the Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel movie was incredibly well-liked. According to conservative estimates provided by Sacnilk.com, the movie eventually brought in a staggering 55.5 crore. Not only did it earn its largest single-day revenue, but it also exceeded the Rs 200 crore threshold.

It is clear from ‘Gadar 2's quick box office growth that it will soon surpass the Rs 250 crore threshold as well. According to Sacnilk.com, it began sales at Rs 40 crore on Friday before reaching Rs 43 crore and Rs 51 crore on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. With a Monday collection in the neighbourhood of Rs 38 crore, it didn't indicate much of a decline. The current total nett revenue after five days is Rs 229 crore.

Prior to its release, Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel began touring the nation to promote ‘Gadar 2.’ On Tuesday, Sunny, a Lok Sabha representative for Punjab's Gurdaspur district, was in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh. At the Infantry Research Centre and Museum in the Mhow cantonment, around 25 kilometres from Indore, he participated in the Independence Day festivities. In the centre’s grounds, the actor and an Army officer raised a huge tricolour by pressing a remote control.

‘Gadar 2,’ which Anil Sharma directed, sees the return of Ameesha, Sunny, and young actor Utkarsh Sharma. The latter, who is now 29 years old, also appears in ‘Gadar 2’ as Tara Singh and Sakeena's kid. The 'Crush India' campaign of 1971 serves as the story's historical setting. It centres on Tara Singh's attempts to get Charanjeet out of Pakistan after their army kidnaps him.

Manish Wadhwa, Gaurav Chopra, Simrat Kaur, Luv Sinha, Rakesh Bedi, and Dolly Bindra all appear in ‘Gadar 2.’ ‘Gadar 2’ also has the well-known tunes ‘Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava’ and ‘Main Nikla Gaddi Leke’ from the 2001 original. The movie opened to mediocre reviews and competed in theatres with Akshay Kumar's ‘OMG 2.’
