But it's still hard to say how much money either movie will make at first. 'Gadar 2' is expected to make more money in its first week, around Rs. 25 crore, but 'Jailer' is also expected to reach this number. Karan Taurani of Elara Capital, a trade analyst, said that 'Gadar 2' might have a better starting weekend, with around Rs. 25 crores in sales, but that 'Jailer' should do about the same.

Taurani was still doubtful about 'Gadar 2's success, pointing out that it depends on how the audience reacts and how good the content is, which don't look good right now.

Reports says that 'Jailer' has the most advance sales, with over 900,000, while 'OMG 2' has 45,000 and 'Gadar 2' has over 300,000, based on how many tickets have been bought. Taurani understood how important these bookings were, but he also pointed out that the southern movies have capped ticket prices, which affects the number of people who go there compared to the northern belt, where higher prices bring in a bigger crowd.

Even though Rajinikanth has a lot of fans all over India, Taurani emphasised that different areas have a big impact on revenue estimates. He thinks that 'Jailer' will do well in the South, especially in Tamil Nadu, where it will make more than 80% of its money. Other towns in the south, like Bangalore, Trivandrum, and places where Telugu is spoken, are also expected to add to the numbers. 'Jailer' could get a following in the North, but Taurani thinks that 'Gadar 2' will make slightly more money.

Taurani thinks that the lifetime gross for both films will be in the range of Rs. 120-180 crore for 'Gadar 2' and Rs. 120-150 crore for 'Jailer.' This means that 'Gadar 2' will have a slightly bigger gross than 'Jailer'. But Taurani says that these numbers could change, especially for 'Gadar 2,' whose box office success will depend on how well it is known and what it is about.

'Gadar 2' is expected to do better than 'Jailer,' at least in its first weekend. Still, 'Gadar 2's future is uncertain because it depends on its image and how well it does with audiences, while 'Jailer' seems more likely to do well.

Even though 'Gadar 2' has a slight edge, the scales could tip in favour of either film as audiences' tastes change and Southern films become more famous in the Hindi belt. Also, 'Gadar 2' might do better because it has a more national theme than 'Jailer,' which is more of an action-thriller. Both movies have big names in them and are set to come out around the same time. 'Jailer' will be in theatres on August 10, and 'OMG 2' and 'Gadar 2' will be out on August 11.
