‘Ghost’ had a solid first day at the domestic box office. The Kannada action picture made an estimated 2 crore on Thursday, according to Sacnilk.com. ‘Ghost’, starring veteran actor Shivarajkumar, was released during the Dusshera season on the same day as ‘Leo’ and ‘Bhagavanth Kesari.’ While Vijay's ‘Leo’ made a massive 68 crore nett on its first day in India, Nandamuri Balakrishna's Telugu film only made 20 crore nett.
According to the web, ‘Ghost’ would add another 1.5 crore to its domestic box office revenue on Friday, bringing its two-day India total to 3.5 crore. On Thursday, the heist thriller had an overall Kannada occupancy of 48.55 percent, with Mysuru having the highest at 64.5 percent, followed by Bengaluru at 58.5 percent.

According to OTTplay, ‘Ghost’ was launched in Kannada, Hindi, and Tamil on October 19, with the Telugu version following a week later on October 27.

MG Srinivas directed the film, which was produced by Sandesh Productions. It's a heist film, with the most of the action taking place in a jail. Shivarajkumar plays the protagonist in ‘Ghost.’ Along with Shivarajkumar, the film stars Malayalam actor Jayaram, Bollywood actor Anupam Kher, Archana Jois, Sathyaprakash, and director MG Srinivas. Arjun Janya penned the songs for ‘Ghost’.
