As it continues to bring in between Rs 1 crore and Rs 1.50 crore, it is having trouble at the box office. ‘Gumraah’ did the worst on Day 4 because its ceiling was only Rs 70 lakh. Even breaking the Rs 5-crore barrier is difficult. The movie might soon be pulled from theatres if things continue this way. ‘Gumraah’ won't set any records in terms of box office revenue.

It barely managed to make Rs 70 lakh at the box office, which is a rather small sum considering that Mrunal and Aditya are prominently featured in the film. This was immediately followed by Aditya's highly appreciated performance in The Night Manager. According to reports, ‘Gumraah’ has made a total of Rs 4.5 crore just in local markets. Recent films like ‘Dasara’ by Nani and ‘Bholaa’ by Ajay Devgn are rivals to ‘Gumraah’. On April 10, the movie had a 7.71 percent Hindi occupancy nationwide.
About ‘Gumraah’
Vardhan Ketkar, a new director, oversaw the making of ‘Gumraah’. The movie is made by the Cine1 Studios and T-Series of Murad Khetani. On April 7, 2023, it was presented in theatres. The crime drama is a replica of the Tamil movie Thadam. Along with Mrunal Thakur and Ronit Roy, Aditya Roy Kapur plays two roles in the movie.
‘Gumraah's’ plot centres on sub-inspector Shivani Mathur, whose task it is to look into the murder of a guy. She discovers two identical suspects who are unaware of one another. Shivani finds additional information regarding the case that makes things more difficult for her. The film's soundtrack was created by Mithoon, Vishal Mishra, Tanishk Bagchi, and Abhijit Vaghani.
