Jayeshbhai Jordaar: Estimates show 40% jump with collection of Rs 4.50 Cr at BO

As per reports, Ranveer Singh-starrer Jayeshbhai Jordaar (2022) has registered a 40 percent jump in collection, by minting around Rs. 4.45 to 4.65 crores on Saturday. This takes the two day total of the YRF release to Rs. 7.75 crores.
As of now, it can be safely assumed that the movie will gross around Rs. 12 crore in its opening weekend.
Analysts are of the opinion that the opening of the film has been poor compared to the hype surrounding it and despite the presence of a huge star like Ranveer Singh. Made on a budget of Rs 60 crore, the film should have crossed the expected weekend collection of Rs 12 crore in the first two days itself. Moreover, the word of mouth with regards to Jayeshbhai Jordaar is mixed and the weekdays ahead do not seem bright in terms of box office collection.
For starters, Jayeshbhai Jordaar is comedy-drama film written and directed by Divyang Thakkar, and produced by Aditya Chopra and Maneesh Sharma under Yash Raj Films.
The film stars Ranveer Singh in the titular role as the son of a traditional Gujarati sarpanch, who believes in equal rights between males and females in society. It also stars Shalini Pandey while Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah play supporting roles.
