Hansal Mehta ’s directorial film Simran is a slice of life tale featuring Kangana Ranaut in the lead. The movie has garnered mixed reviews from the audience as well as the critics. However, Kangana has been praised for her impeccable and flawless performance as she effortless pulled off the complex character of Praful Patel in the film. Despite a not so good weekend, the movie has remained steady during the weekdays.
Simran collected Rs. 2.77 crores on its opening Friday, followed by Rs. 3.76 crores on Saturday, and Rs. 4.12 crores on Sunday. The movie further raked in Rs. 1.41 crores on Monday, Rs. 1.25 crores on Tuesday and Rs. 1.16 crores on Wednesday. Hence, the total collection stands at Rs. 14.47 crores at the domestic markets. The film is now expected to remain steady during the coming days and witness a gentle rise during the weekend.
