KGF:Chapter 2 surpasses RRR; Final box office collection stands up to Rs. 892 crores
KGF : Chapter 2’s box office collection is getting higher day by day. The Prashanth Neel directorial have managed to surpass the March release RRR as the box collection stands up to Rs. 892 crores. According to the sources, KGF: Chapter 2 has officially become the second-biggest grosser ever in India. The first one remains to be Baahubali 2 , which it is unlikely for KGF 2 to cross.
The segregation of the box collection is as follows:
Week 1 – Rs. 619 crores (8 days)
Week 2 – Rs. 197 crores
3rd Friday – Rs. 10 crores
3rd Saturday – Rs. 16.50 crores
3rd Sunday – Rs. 21.50 crores
3rd Monday – Rs. 10 crores
3rd Tuesday – Rs. 18 crores
Total – Rs. 892 crores
The territorial breakdown for the box office collections of KGF: Chapter 2 in India are as follows:
Karnataka – Rs. 155.50 crores
AP/TS – Rs. 143 crores
Tamil Nadu – Rs. 97.50 crores
Kerala – Rs. 58 crores
North India – Rs. 438 crores
Bollywood biggies such as Runway 34 and Heropanti 2 failed to sustain in front of KGF 2 which also helped the film to garner more earnings.
