Only Rs 15.81 crore was made by Salman Khan's April 21 release, ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, in its first day.Additionally, it had the second-lowest first-day opening of the superstar's five Eid films. While it was surprising to see a Salman Khan-starring movie earn this little on Day 1, the movie managed to make up ground throughout the course of its opening weekend. On the second day, KKBKKJ saw a surge and made Rs 25.75 crore. The movie brought in an astounding Rs 64.25 crore on Day 3, April 23, a Sunday.
‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde play the leading roles in the movie. Following Dabangg 3, the movie was the superstar's first significant cinema release. KKBKKJ's first weekend's collection increased dramatically after a sluggish Day 1 start. The third day's earnings of Rs. 26.25 crore brought the total to Rs. 64.25 crore. On Sunday, April 23, Hindi viewers watched KKBKKJ with a 28.56 percent overall occupancy. Ajith-starring Veeram was a box office hit when it was released, and ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ is a remake that is marketed as a mass-market family comedy.
Box Office India said that in the meantime, ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ has scored very well again on Sunday as it should get a little growth on Sunday even after the national holiday on Saturday as the Hindi belts remain in overdrive. the collections from various states like UP, MP and Bihar are better than Saturday. The Punjab NCR belt would normally see a big drop post the Eid national holiday but as its a Sunday here the drop is much less. The collections have been boosted by the Eid factor over the weekend and this will remain in some states for the next couple of days but the metro centres will be back to normal Monday. So this will lead to drops in some places while others hold better to Eid."
