KUTTEY BOX OFFICE COLLECTION DAY 3: Arjun Kapoor’s movie had a terrible opening weekend; See report

Kuttey, a multistarrer, had the potential to perform higher at the box office, but it appears that moviegoers aren't eager to see the Aasmaan Bhardwaj production in a theatre. Kuttey, which stars Arjun Kapoor, Tabu, Naseeruddin Shah, Konkana Sen Sharma, and Radhika Madan in key parts, debuted to appallingly low numbers over the weekend.

Kuttey had a dismal opening weekend gross of Rs 1.07 crore, which left Bollywood with a less than ideal way to start the new year. The adventure comedy made Rs 1.22 crore on day 2, barely increasing from day 1. Kuttey, on the other hand, took a hit on Sunday and only made Rs. 1.10 crore, bringing its opening weekend total to Rs. 3.39 crore.

KUTTEY IN THE RACE WITH SOUTH MOVIES

In contrast to the four major South Indian blockbusters, Varisu, Thunivu, Veera Simha Reddy, and Waltair Veerayya, Bollywood is lagging behind since Kuttey isn't able to get viewers to theatres.

Even though Kuttey is an engaging picture with some outstanding performances, its poor box office performance demonstrates that viewers are now more certain than ever about the kinds of movies they want to see on the big screen. The focus is now firmly fixed on Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan!

The cast of Kuttey includes Naseeruddin Shah, Tabu, Arjun Kapoor, Konkona Sensharma, Kumud Mishra, Radhika Madan, and Shardul Bhardwaj. Aasmaan Bhardwaj, the son of Vishal Bhardwaj, made his directing debut with it. The crime thriller movie premiered on January 13. Produced by Luv Ranjan, Vishal Bhardwaj, Ankur Garg, and Rekha Bhardwaj under the auspices of Luv Films and Vishal Bhardwaj Films, Kuttey is distributed by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar's T-Series. The movie's plot is set in Mumbai, where three rival gangs accidentally cross paths while looking for a vehicle carrying millions of bucks.
