Laal Singh Chaddha beats The Kashmir Files & Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2; becomes 2nd highest grossing Hindi film overseas
The Aamir Khan-starrer has left behind The Kashmir Files and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 in terms of overseas box office figures.

Laal Singh Chaddha (2022), starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in leading roles, received mixed to positive reviews; with international critics calling it a promising affair, while Khan failed to impress.
As of 19 August 2022, the film grossed ₹62.18 crore (US$7.8 million) in India and ₹47.95 crore (US$6.0 million) overseas, for a worldwide gross collection of ₹109.96 crore (US$14 million).
The official Hindi remake of the American film Forrest Gump (1994), Laal Singh Chaddha has managed to collect US$ 6 million (Rs. 47.95 crore) at the close of its first week at the international box office.
With this, the film has surpassed Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (5.88 million US$) and The Kashmir Files (5.7 million US$) to become the 2nd highest overseas grosser of 2022 after Gangubai Kathiawadi (7.47 million US$), which retains the numero uno spot at overseas box office.
