‘Leo’ had a strong second weekend at the Indian box office, grossing approximately Rs. 50 crore, bringing its total to Rs. 377 crore. The film maintained strength on Friday, not decreasing from Thursday, and then saw a significant increase in earnings on Saturday. With this weekend's performance, the film is on track to surpass the Rs. 400 crore milestone, as is 'Jailer', which finished at Rs. 408 crore.
‘Leo's’ juggernaut run in Tamil Nadu continued with an incredible Rs. 29 crore second weekend, the third highest ever, only slightly less than Vikram. Yesterday, the film reached the Rs. 200 crore milestone in the state, becoming only the second film to do so. The Vijay-starrer reached the second century on the eleventh day of its release, whereas’ PS1’ took eighteen days. The countdown to becoming the state's all-time grosser has begun, as it is only Rs. 17 crore away from breaking the record, with an ETA of the third weekend.
