Lipstick Under My Burkha which finally was released in theatres on July 21 is being loved and appreciated by the masses. The film that is termed bold and women oriented has received raving reviews from the critics. This Ekta Kapoor’s presentation opened only in 400 screens across the country yet is showing growth in numbers at the box-office.
the film raked in of Rs. 1.22 crores on its opening Friday, it further brought in Rs. 2.17 crores on Saturday and Rs. 2.41 crores on Sunday. The film passed the crucial Monday test as it made more than Friday, it collected Rs. 1.28 crores on Monday and Rs. 1.36 crores on Tuesday. Hence, the total collection stands at Rs. 8.44 crores at the domestic front. The number are expected to remain stable during the weekdays due to the positive word of mouth.
This Alankrita Srivastava’s directorial stars power performers Ratna Pathak , Konkona Sen Sharma , Aahana Kumra , Plabita Borthakur and Vikrant Massey in key roles. It has been produced by Prakash Jha Productions and distributed by Ekta Kapoor.
