The makers and producers of the recently released film Mom can see a spark of satisfaction as the business of their film outing Mom is gradually growing. The film that started on a low note has witnessed considerable growth over the weekend and the weekdays seems to be stability, which is a good sign. Being in a genre which is slightly niche, the film still is performing well at the ticket window. This is Sridevi 's 300th film and also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna in pivotal roles
The movie collected Rs. 2.90 crores on its opening Friday, it further made Rs. 5.08 crores on Saturday and Rs. 6.42 crores on Sunday. On Monday, it brought in Rs. 2.52 crores and seeing a growth again it made Rs. 2.74 crores on Tuesday. Hence, the total collection stands at Rs. 19.66 crores at the domestic front.
Mom has garnered praises and accolades from Bollywood insiders as well as critics alike. Fans cannot stop raving about the movie and so it has a positive buzz around it that will manage to keep the numbers stable during the coming weekdays. The film also stars two Pakistani actors Adnan Siddiqui who plays Sridevi ’s husband and Sajal Ali who plays her daughter. The film released on July 7th 2017!
