Azhar First Weekend Box-Office Collection crosses 20 crore mark
The film Azhar garners 20.80 crore nett at the domestic box-office in the first weekend of its release.

Emraan Hashmi, Prachi Desai, Nargis Fakhri starrer Azhar released on silver screen on May 13. The film garnered mixed reviews from the critics and opened with average box office collection on day one by raking in 6.30 crore nett. The movie performed low in metro and urban places on the first day of its release.
Saturday saw collection of 7 crore nett and the amount was average considering the hype generated by the film and its budget prior to its release. Released in 2500 screens, Azhar garnered 7.50 crore nett on Sunday, which was slightly higher than the Saturday's collection of the biopic, thereby making the first weekend total box-office collection of Azhar up to 20.80 crore nett.
