'Badlapur' Opening Weekend Collections at the Box-Office
'Badlapur' first weekend collections at the Box-office totalled up to the sum of Rs. 24 crores approximately.

Varun Dhawan starrer film ' Badlapur ' performed quite well on its first Friday with 7 crores in spite of it being an Adult film and a dark revenge drama. The film's promotions and exclusive star cast gave it enough publicity and the expectations in terms of the numbers were high. Varun's bold step towards a completely different genre and Nawazuddin Siddiqui 's exceptional performance in the film is appreciated by the audiences and the critics alike.
The dark revenge tale bagged good reviews for itself and also had good word of mouth publicity hence its two days collections were up to 15.5 crores. The Sriram Raghavan 's directorial film ' Badlapur ' managed for a good first weekend collections at the Box-office that totalled up to the sum of Rs. 24 crores approximately. This is a fairly good number considering the other films of 2015 viz. Ranbir Kapoor 's ' Roy ' and Akshay Kumar 's ' Baby '. The numbers are expected to rise in the coming weekdays.
