Srijit Mukherji’s directorial film Begum Jaan is performing decently at the box-office! The film made Rs. 11.48 crores in its opening weekend and further raked in Rs. 1.87 crores on Monday and Rs. 1.59 crores on Tuesday. Hence, the total collection stands at Rs. 14.94 crores at the domestic front.
The film narrates the story of a brothel owner Begum Jaan and her girls who fight to safeguard their home. Begum Jaan which is produced by Play Entertainment and Vishesh Films, also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Guahar Khan, Chunky Pandey and Pallavi Sharda, among others.
