Dharma Productions much-anticipated film ' Ungli ', finally hit the theatres yesterday on November 28. Let's check out what fate it met at the box-office on its first day.
Releasing in over 1700 screens, ' Ungli ' didn't live up to the expectations of trade analyst. According to early trends, its morning show theatre occupancy was listed to 15 - 20% and the film ended up collecting around Rupees 3.60 Crore approximately on its opening day.
Other releases of 28th November were ' Zid ' and ' Zed Plus '.
' Zid ' had the USP of extra bold scenes performed by debutant Mannara and Karanvir Sharma , so it flared comparatively well in the single screens. But it failed to please the critics.
' Zed Plus ' starred internationally acclaimed actor Adil Hussain in a cycle puncture repairer's role. Though it was critically approved, it experienced low theatre occupancy of just 5-10%.
