Ajay Devgn starrer ' Drishyam ' has received rave reviews and has been loved and appreciated by the audiences too. The film's box-office collections remained decent, though more business was expected from the film due to its stellar star cast and exclusive content. The film managed to rake in Rs. 2.75 crores on Friday, Rs. 4.05 crores on Saturday and Rs. 5.04 crores on Sunday making its total collection stand at Rs. 58.12 crores at the domestic markets.
The film had an added advantage as the last Friday releases viz. ' Bangistan ' and ' Jaanisaar ' failed miserable at the box-office. Though the film's toughest competitor proved to be the Hollywood film 'Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation' which is running strong at the theatres.
The suspense thriller's collections may drop after the next Friday release, which is Akshay Kumar and Siddharth Malhotra starrer ' Brothers ' that has been promoted widely and has created huge buzz.
