First Day Box Office Collection Of 'Ankur Arora Murder Case'

A medical thriller produced by Vikram Bhatt and directed by Suhail Tatari , ' Ankur Arora Murder Case ' though had a very sensitive and burning issue, it unfortunately targeted niche audience. A new genre by itself, the medical thriller spoke about the very important issue of medical negligence. But, due to its lacking entertainment quotient, the film failed to attract the audience on the first day of its release.
The movie which features talented actor Kay Kay Menon , Tisca Chopra , Arjun Mathur , Paoli Dam , Vishesh Tiwari and Vishakha Singh in pivotal roles; observed only 15% occupancy on its opening day. The film generated mixed reviews from the critics due to its well groomed, well researched story but average execution. Not just this, but the giant Hollywood release 'Man Of Steel', the superhero flick ate all the shares of ' Ankur Arora Murder Case ' and the other release of the week ' Fukrey '. The film was expected to earn 1.50 cr of revenue at the box office on the first day of its release.
Adding to the unfortunate fate of the film, the blockbuster hit ' Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani 'starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone , is still wooing more number of audience than the fresh releases of this week. The film ' Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani ' is on a verge to enter the huge 200 cr club very soon.
