Salman Khan is back in form with January 24 release ' Jai Ho '. It seems the tiger Salman is back to claim his territory with this socio-drama produced and directed by his brother Sohail Khan . The newbie Daisy Shah essayed the role of Salman's lady love in the film. The movie featured a long starcast like Tabu , Danny Denzongpa , Mukul Dev , Mahesh Thakur , Nadira Babbar , Mahesh Manjrekar , Genelia D'Souza , Yash Tonk , Suniel Shetty , Vatsal Sheth , Pulkit Samrat , Mohnish Behl , Resham Tipnis , Vikas Bhalla , Bruna Abdullah , Sana Khan , Ashmit Patel , Varun Badola , Tulip Joshi and Nauheed Cyrusi .
The film commenced with high expectations and a fresh barometer of 200 crore nett was set for this entertainer. In Punjab, the film saw occupancy of 65%, while it performed low in Delhi and UP, as per the reports. The Salman Khan starrer could not create magic in Mumbai, Mysore and Bangalore, reportedly. However, it managed to get decent figures in CP, CI and Rajasthan. The response from the viewers for this film can be labeled as the weakest response to a Salman Khan film in many years. Considering the early estimates, ' Jai Ho ' must collect around 19-20 crore nett on its opening day. The flick should take a big leap over the first weekend of its release in order to follow the trend of Salman Khan 's hitherto blockbusters.
