First Day Box Office Collection of 'John Day'

After conquering success with the previous thriller ' A Wednesday! ', the producer Anjum Rizvi presented his next offering ' John Day '. Released on September 13, ' John Day ' was classified into thriller category by looking at its dark and mystery-loaded trailers. Directed by debut director Ahishor Solomon , the movie featured Naseeruddin Shah , Randeep Hooda , Shernaz Patel , Vipin Sharma , Elena Kazan , Makarand Deshpande , Bharat Dabholkar and Sharat Saxena . The noire-drama ' John Day ' received mixed reviews from the film critics and it failed to create ripples due to other releases on the same day, like the adult comic caper ' Grand Masti ' and frightening narrative ' Horror Story '.
