December 27 saw a single major film releasing and it was ' Mahabharat ' directed by Amaan Khan . The film was said to be the most expensive multi-starrer animation movie of India. By looking at its trailer, it guaranteed to be a promising entertainer for kids as well as adults.
' Mahabharat ' talked about a great historic Indian epic, Mahabharat . The film was special, as the animated characters in the film spoke in the voice of Bollywod biggies like Amitabh Bachchan as Bheeshma Pitamaha, Ajay Devgn as Arjun, Anil Kapoor as Karn, Jackie Shroff as Duryodhan, Anupam Kher as Shakuni Mama, Sunny Deol as Bheem, Manoj Bajpai as Yudhishthir, Deepti Naval as Kunti and Vidya Balan as Draupadi. The overall animation and storytelling ensured the presentation of the epic in a newer way. The prime target of this flick is the kids audience, being an animated film. Going by the early estimates, the film ' Mahabharat ' should collect around 1.81 crore nett.
