First Day Box Office Collection of 'Main Tera Hero'

Balaji Motion Pictures Ltd 's production venture ' Main Tera Hero ' released on April 4 with none of the major competitor for it. The movie starring Varun Dhawan , Ileana D'cruz and Nargis Fakhri was expected to attract crowd over the youth-centric storyline and catchy songs. Also, the film was promoted on various social platforms like by visiting colleges and all.
However, yesterday's cricket match and Sunday's match may hamper the growth in numbers at the box office for this flick. David Dhawan 's directorial ' Main Tera Hero ' performed well in the regions like Rajasthan, CP, CI as well as it's seeing good numbers in the single screens and smaller towns. The movie gained mixed reviews from the critics, out of which multiple reviews were positive ones. Going by the early trends, the rom-com ' Main Tera Hero ' must collect around 6.5 crore nett.
The other release of the same day, ' Jal ' starring Purab Kohli in a key role, failed to gain decent numbers and began with just 8 to 10% on day one.
