The year 2014 witnessed different genre of movies releasing at the box office, like the camaraderie-tale ' Yaariyan ' and love-saga ' Dedh Ishqiya '. January 17 saw ' Karle Pyaar Karle ', ' Miss Lovely ' and ' Paranthe Wali Gali ' hitting the screens. All of three entertainers opened with average response from the viewers.
' Miss Lovely ' spotlighted on the "C" grade film industry and its bitter truths. It featured Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Niharika Singh in the lead. Although the film was having much adult content, the censor board passed it with just four cuts. This art house outing saw sluggish response during morning shows, but took a decent start in the evening shows. The film managed to get many positive reviews from the critics and it was released across 300 screens. In Mumbai region, ' Miss Lovely ' is anticipated to collect around 13 lakhs and the film is expected to garner 20 lakhs approximately across India, as revealed by the early estimates. In the first weekend of its release, the movie is expected to earn up to 1 crore nett.
The other entertainer ' Paranthe Wali Gali ' starring Anuj Saxena and Neha Pawar , reportedly collected less than 5 lakhs and the movie shows were cancelled.
