First Day Box Office Collection of 'Policegiri'
K. S Ravikumar\'s remake of south flick \'Saamy\' titled as \'Policegiri\' was released on 5th July 2013. The film scored descent numbers in the single screens of the country.

Macho man Sanjay Dutt 's most anticipated film of the year ' Policegiri ' was released yesterday on Friday 5th July 2013. The film performed as per the expectations at the box office. As per the trade pundits, the film was not expected to score big in the urban area and multiplexes, but still it managed to score the descent numbers due to its masala content.
K. S. Ravikumar 's 'Cop Vs Goon' drama though didn't rated good in multiplexes, but the single screen audience loved it and gave a good response despite of getting negative and mixed reviews from the critics. The film starring Sanjay Dutt , Prachi Desai and Prakash Raj in lead roles faced a tough competition from Vikramaditya Motwane 's soft and tender love story ' Lootera ' starring Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha .
The film may have performed well on its day one in the selected areas, but the experts say that there is no chance of a growth for the film here on. If it performs well, then it will be a bonus for the makers.
