First Day Box Office Collection of 'Purani Jeans' and 'Kya Dilli Kya Lahore'

The coming-of-age romantic drama ' Purani Jeans ' directed by Tanushri Chattrji Bassu released on May 2 along with the other release ' Kya Dilli Kya Lahore ', the directorial venture by Vijay Raaz . As both the films were not star-driven, their fate was completely dependent on the success of its storyline.
While ' Purani Jeans ' talked about a story of old friends, ' Kya Dilli Kya Lahore ' narrated a tale of India-Pakistan issue. Going by the early trends, ' Kya Dilli Kya Lahore ' is expected to collect around 1-1.5 crore nett on the first day of its release. ' Purani Jeans ' that featured the young faces, is anticipated to rake in 1- 2 crore nett approximately on Friday, as per the reports.
