First Day Box Office Collection of 'Shortcut Romeo'
Susi Ganesan's 'Shortcut Romeo' was released on 21st June 2013 and it gained an average response at the box office by earning 6 to 7 cr nett on its opening day.

Susi Ganesan 's romantic thriller ' Shortcut Romeo ' got a warm opening on the first day of its release at the box office. The movie which featured stars like Neil Nitin Mukesh , Amisha Patel and Puja Gupta was produced by Manjari Susi Ganesh . The film which is a remake of Tamil Blockbuster 'Thirutu Payale' by Susi Ganesan has managed to collect 6 to 7 cr approximately at the box office on its opening day.
The film is about an unfaithful wife Monica played by Amisha Patel who has an extramarital affair with her husband's (played by Rajesh Shringarpure ) friend Ashish (played by Jatin Grewal ). One day, a good for nothing urchin named Sooraj catches Monica and Ashish in an uncompromising situation in the golf turf. He tapes their unlawful activity on his video camera and threatens them to make it public if they refuse to pay him. Thus begins the game of cat and mouse.
' Shortcut Romeo ' received mixed reviews from the critics but it earned a warm response from the audience despite facing tough competition from this week's other prominent release ' Raanjhanaa '. The movie awaits a good response from the audience over the weekends.
