The previous week, 2nd of October saw a massive, big budget mass entertainer ' Besharam ' starring the Kapoor trio i.e. Ranbir Kapoor , Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh showed us bright hopes, to be expected from it. This entertainer directed by Abhinav Kashyap also introduced a fresh face Pallavi Sharda , but merely the poor story line left the anchor loose that went liable to sink the sail.

However, after a massive disappointment, the burden of entertainment was totally upon the two small budget flicks ' War Chhod Na Yaar ' and ' Baat Bann Gayi ' which brought up some unusual stories to our treats early this weekend. Accordingly, ' War Chhod Na Yaar ' starred two comic giants, Javed Jaffrey and Sharman Joshi along with a handsome collection of other comic archers, whereas ' Baat Bann Gayi ' was totally focused upon the "Bad Man" Gulshan Grover and just one film old Ali Fazal .

As we can see, both the films came out with an average star cast, budget and minimum of promotions. However, it was ' War Chhod Na Yaar ' which seemed to be quite strong. As soon as the ticket windows opened this Friday, the viewers offered a lukewarm response, where the Sharman starrer collected 5-6 crores approximately, Ali Fazal 's treat gathered a minimum of 2-3 crores approximately. Merely, the Saturday was expected to be quite full, well here too the assumptions went wrong with war comic accumulation a fall of 5.3 crores and the double role treat ' Baat Bann Gayi ' gathering 2 crores respectively.

Whereas considered about Sunday, the occasion time again kept the masses busy in Dussehra celebrations, which directly got reflected in the reports as ' War Chhod Na Yaar ' and ' Baat Bann Gayi ' garnering a low face with 4 and 1.8 crores respectively. The overall business of both the flicks contributing the comic genres may had the potential to lure the audiences, but it was all the occasion period occupying the masses that kept them aloof from the small budget offerings.
