Sujoy Ghosh’s directorial venture Kahaani 2 starring Vidya Balan made decent collection during its first weekend by raking in Rs. 16.97 crores. The movie further made Rs. 2.04 crores on Monday and Rs. 1.96 crores on Tuesday. Hence, the total collection stands at Rs. 20.97 crores at the domestic front.
The second instalment film has been released in 1235 screens across the country. Kahaani 2 is a sequel film that narrates the tale of Durga Rani Singh and her mysterious dual personality Vidya Sinha. The film also stars Arjun Rampal in a key role.
