'Mickey Virus' First Weekend Box Office Collection

Last week was all flooded with small buck releases, not one or two but a wholesome of six releases. Films like ' Sooper Se Ooper ', ' Dilli Gang ', ' Amdavad Junction ', ' Wake Up India ' and ' Ishk Actually ' assured themselves to be entertaining the masses on the odd time, that of pre-diwali. But, as we predicted none of this grabbed as much of desired attention, proving to be a dull.

Never-the-less, in all this there was just one who came with a bang and sparked the crackers much before the festive, the underdog ' Mickey Virus '. As the promos suggested and craze built up by this virus sheer proved to hang up a lot of masses waiting in a queue to get there systems detected by this one.

As soon as the Manish Paul starrer opened up, a galore of youths pumped up, as the theme was very much youth centric. Though the opening figure were not much to our amuse however, was far better than its competitors, a collection of approximately 1.65 crores. Well with more of positive reviews coming out on the same day, trade pandits expected a larger portion of viewers the next day.

As we all predicted, the same did happened. As soon as the official weekend (Saturday) arrived, the increase was much noticeable, this time too mostly packed with youngsters. Accumulating 1.90 crores approximately, the film went on the better path on its second day. Well summing up the duo amount to an average 3.55 crores in total.

As the third day collections are not out, we tentatively predict the pre-diwali Sunday was mostly occupied for the festive shopping. Merely, the virus remained a decode for stress for sure. The news birdies tentatively assume the flick to have garnered approx of 6 crores this holiday. Well now that the overall figure will be out soon , we predict the film to come near across 9 crores this week, far better for a low budgeted and that too with an all new cast !
