Pari faces a slow weekend. Collects Rs. 15.34 crores in 3 days!
Anushka Sharma’s debut in the horror genre faced a dull start. It managed to mint good figures only from multiplexes.

Last Friday, Anushka Sharma released her latest film, Pari ; under her banner Clean Slate Films. The film is the debut of the actress in the horror genre and she gave a power-packed performance in it. Known for doing challenging roles, Anushka stepped out of the box with Pari and impressed the masses. Though her film got mixed reviews from critics, movie lovers appreciated it. The movie is made on a limited budget of 18 crores but it faced a dull start. Released on the occasion of Holi, many morning shows on day 1 were cancelled and it was not at all released in some parts of South India. Well, as the movie was not a commercial or a masala entertainer, it managed to earn Rs. 15.34 crores by the end of the first weekend.

After NH 10 and Phillauri , Pari is the third film of Anushka under her own home production. Though her latest film faced a slow start, it earned slightly more than both her last home production films. Where her horror flick, Pari , earned 15.34 crores after 1st weekend, NH 10 and Phillauri, on the other hand, pocketed 13.25 crores and 15.25 crores respectively in the same time.
The film also stars Parambrata Chattopadhyay , Rajat Kapoor , and Ritabhari Chakraborty .
Directed by newcomer, Prosit Roy , Pari doesn’t seem to earn more than 25 crores by this week.
