Even on its third Sunday, the Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham film Pathaan is irresistible. On its 19th day, the Siddharth Anand-directed movie is enjoying a dream run at the box office. In its Hindi form, Pathaan made a total box office revenue of Rs 12.50 crore. Well, it's probably the last time Pathaan has generated double-digit box office receipts in a theatre setting. After the third Sunday's sales, the Hindi version in India has earned a total of Rs 469 crores net, bringing the total for all versions to Rs 486.25 crores net.
The Yash Raj Films production made Rs 12.50 crore nett on its 19th day, bringing the total to Rs 486.2 crore nett after Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan crossed Rs 950 crore at the global box office. Pathaan is currently closing up on the Rs 1,000 crore threshold. Globally, the movie made Rs 950 crore, of which Rs 588 crore came from India and Rs 363 crore from other versions of the movie.
The movie is edging closer to breaking Baahubali's global box office record, but only time will tell if it surpasses Prabhas' movie's international take.
Pathaan had earned Rs 924 crore before the end of Day 18. The movie's Saturday takings were 70% more than its third Friday's Rs 5.50 crore. Pathaan is now hoping to join the Rs 500 crore club, becoming the first original movie to accomplish so, and is predicted to surpass Baahubali: The Conclusion's domestic box office results in Hindi.
The movie, which also features Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana in significant parts, is directed by Siddharth Anand and is made by Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films.
