Since its debut, Pathaan has been shattering records. The movie became the fastest Hindi film to join the 200 crore club when it crossed the 200 crore nett-mark in just four days and brought its domestic box office total to 212 crore nett.

According to early estimates, Pathaan made more than 57 crore crore net on its first day of release in India and again made more than 50 crore net on its fourth day in theatres. Pathaan's Hindi adaptation witnessed a nearly 40% increase in sales on Saturday after earning 37.5 crore nett on Friday in India, reportedly grossing 52 crore nett. The movie, which was directed by Siddharth Anand, came out in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on Wednesday, the day before Republic Day 2023.

Early estimates in a report by Box Office India indicate that Pathaan's Hindi version earned over 52 crore nett on Saturday, making it a third day with more than 50 crore nett since the film's premiere, with only Friday (of 37.5 crore) excluded. Shah Rukh makes his first acting appearance in a leading role since Zero with Pathaan (2018). According to Taran Adrash, a trade analyst, "Pathaan is absolutely rewriting record books." On Saturday, he tweeted, “Pathaan overtakes KGF: Chapter 2 and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion... fastest to enter ₹200 crore club... India biz (business)..."

PATHAAN

Pathaan marks the first collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham. Siddharth Anand is the writer and director of the movie, and Yash Raj Films is funding it. It is the fourth entry in the YRF Spy Universe and Khan's follow-up to Zero (2018). Along with dubbed Tamil and Telugu versions, the film was released on January 25, 2023. Pathaan, a RAW field agent, is portrayed in the movie by Shah Rukh Khan. Sanchit and Ankit Balhara wrote the score for Pathaan, and Vishal-Sheykhar wrote the music.
