Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan sets the Chinese box office on fire by garnering Rs. 200 crores and counting
Before Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Hindi films Dangal and Secret Superstar have done a phenomenal business in China.

Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan 's Bajrangi Bhaijaan , which inflamed the box office on its domestic release in India in 2015, is doing the same job at the Chinese box office. The blockbuster film, which arrived in Chinese cinemas early this month, has pocketed over Rs 200 crore in the neighbouring country and the collection is on a rise with every passing day.
Talking about the great response the film has generated in China, Amita Naidu-VP-PR Eros International, said in a statement, "The audience in China are enjoying the story and the direction and they found it very touching. They have loved Salman and found the little girl very cute."
Before Salman Khan 's Bajrangi Bhaijaan , Aamir Khan 's Dangal and Secret Superstar have also put up a great show at the Chinese box office. The huge success of these releases in the neighbouring country has further encouraged Indian filmmakers to create content that can also find acceptance in China also. Now more and more filmmakers are willing to explore the market there.
The Kabir Khan directorial Bajrangi Bhaijaan had earned over Rs. 320 crores at the Indian box office before wrapping up its run.
