Kangana Ranaut has had failures in her most recent movie projects, even though she has had success in the past. The latest movie she was in, 'Tejas,' didn't do well at the box office, and the makers lost an amazing over Rs 50 crore. The movie had a hard time getting people to see it, even though it wasn't promoted very well.

It only made Rs 4.25 crore in theaters during its run. It brought in a small amount more money because the film's OTT, satellite, and music rights were sold for Rs 17 crore. But the movie didn't do well at the box office, leaving the creators with a big debt.
There was a similar problem with Kangana's movie 'Dhaakad' before 'Tejas'. It lost Rs 78.72 crore at the box office. Kangana hasn't had many big hits in theaters lately. Her most recent big hit was 2019's 'Manikarnika,' which made Rs 92.19 crore. The movies she came out after that, like 'Judgemental Hai Kya' and 'Panga', made Rs 33.11 crore and Rs 28.92 crore, respectively. Even her film about Jayalalithaa had a hard time; it only made Rs 1.46 crore during the pandemic.

Even with these problems, Kangana is still dedicated to her work. In her new project, 'Emergency', she plays Indira Gandhi. The movie was supposed to come out in November, but now it will not come out until 2024.
