Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety collects humongous figures in the first weekend!
Made on an overall budget of 40 crores, the Luv Ranjan’s rom-com earned Rs. 26.57 crores in its first weekend.

The Kartik Aaryan , Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh starrer Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is shining at the box office. The rom-com and the bromance vs romance war has become people’s favourite. Though the film doesn’t feature any big star, the audiences have welcomed the film open heartedly. Made on a budget of 40 crores, the film is about to recover its production cost. Released last Friday, the film collected Rs. 6.42 cr on Day 1, Rs. 9.34 cr on Day 2, and it pocketed Rs. 10.81 cr. on its first Sunday i.e. yesterday, taking the grand total to Rs. 26.57 crores.
With figures like these, SKTKS has emerged the clear winner at the box office.

After the fruitful first weekend, the Luv Ranjan ’s comedy flick has now become the third highest first weekend grosser of 2018. The film is only behind Sanjay Leela Bhansali ’s Padmaavat , which made 114 crores in the first three days and Akshay Kumar ’s Pad Man , which pocketed 40.05 crores in the same time.
The film’s pre and post-production costs are 30 crores and 10 crores respectively and if it continued doing the business at the same pace, it will soon start earning high profits.
Interestingly, the film has out-thrown the Neeraj Pandey ’s Aiyaary , which released on 16th February.
