Any movie can turn into a superhit flick even without big stars and Luv Ranjan is proving it with his back to back small budget films. His last film, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 , was made on a limited budget of 22 crores and earned 60 plus crores and his latest film is also following the same path. After a gap of two and a half years, Ranjan came back with his new film, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and it is also doing wonders at the box office. The movie stars Kartik Aaryan , Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh in lead roles and within 10 days of its release, it turned into a super-hit. SKTKS released on 23rd February and has earned more than 60 crores. At the end of the first week, the movie managed to earn Rs. 45.94 crores and after the second weekend, it minted another 19 crores taking the grand total to Rs. 65.34 crores.

For the uninitiated, the movie revolves around the three leads and it shows a war between romance and bromance. This light-hearted comedy-drama connected well with the youth and turned into a game changer for the team of SKTKS. The film is a highest grossing project in the career of all the three actors as well as the director and it is doing equally business in the foreign markets.
Made on an overall budget of 30 crores, till date, the film has earned Rs. 87 crores in the worldwide market.
