Suresh Triveni ’s directorial Tumhari Sulu has proved top be a sleeper hit of 2017! The movie narrates the tale of a middle-class housewife who has a go-getter attitude in life. Actors Manav Kaul , Neha Dhupia and RJ Malishka play key roles. Vidya Balan is undoubtedly the star of the film playing the title role of the happy-go-lucky house-wife Sulu.
The movie entered the third week as there is no major competition to face at the box-office. The film made Rs. 52 lakhs on Friday, Rs. 1.30 crores on Saturday. Hence the total collection stands at Rs. 31.09 crores at the domestic box-office front.
The movie was made on a tight budget of 17 crores and has recovered a majority of it via pre-sales rights. Hence, the film is currently sailing in profits.
