Sachin: A Billion Dreams hit the theaters last Friday. Sachin Tendulkar ’s fans did turn up to witness the journey of their God. Yet, comparing its performance with contemporary releases, this docudrama has scored quite decent figures at the box-office.
The docudrama based on cricket legend Sachin’s life was released in over five languages. By the end of week 1 of its release, following are the results:

Directed by James Erskine, this docudrama had real-life clippings from some of the Sachin’s iconic matches along with the personal video footage with his family and friends. It is entirely addressed by Sachin, where he has shared what all things went in his mind during those clipped times. Along with his family members, the testimonials given by his cricket fellow mates like Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli, and other esteemed personalities have added an extraordinary appeal to this docudrama.
