He is the loving son of the eminent playback singer Udit Narayan. Aditya Narayan started facing camera in his childhood, as he featured as the child artist in Salman Khan starrer 'Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hai' in the year 1998. He was also seen in one of the songs in Urmila Matondkar starrer 'Rangeela'. Moreover, he lent his voice for the same song in 'Rangeela'. As a grown up, Aditya Narayan began hosting the television shows as well as he began his singing career. Aditya was born on August 6, 1987 in Mumbai and he is the only son of Udit and Deepa Narayan. Aditya has done English contemporary music diploma at Tech Music Schools based in London. After returning to India, Aditya was called for the audition of "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge" in 2007 and he turned a professional anchor for the show.
Aditya Narayan is like all-in-one package, as he is a singer, actor, music composer, songwriter, anchor and recently an assistant director. Coming from a musical family, Aditya had a strong passion for music and decided to make his career in music field. He also performed some concerts at Little Wonder's show, a platform for kids to showcase their talent. 1992 Nepali release 'Mohini' was the film for which Aditya did his first playback singing. In 1996, Aditya crooned for the song "Chhota bachha samajh ke" from the film 'Masoom'. It made him achieve the Screen Awards critics Best Child Singer. The young star also sang with music maestro like A. R. Rahman in the flicks like 'Taal' and 'Rangeela'. As a child singer, Aditya has more than hundred songs on his name and his music album titled "Aditya" also bagged much praises. In the year 1995 Filmfare Award ceremony, Aditya was noticed by the "showman" Subhash Ghai and Aditya's career took a different turn, as Ghai signed him for his then upcoming 'Pardes'. The film received immense success. Aditya debuted as an actor in the year 2009 with the horror film 'Shaapit', the directorial venture by Vikram Bhatt. Recently, Aditya became assistant director for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's outing 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-leela'. Bhansali got so impressed with Aditya that he asked him to sing the songs "Tattad Tattad" and "Ishqaun Dhishqyaun" from this film. The songs bagged many accolades and "Tattad Tattad" topped the list of chartbuster and became favourite among the masses.
Apart from this, Aditya turned playback singer for the songs in the movies like 'Shastra', 'Biwi No.1', 'Hum Saath Saath Hain', 'Bhai', 'Akele Hum Akele Tum', 'Diljale', 'Aakrosh' (1998), 'Chachi 420', etc. The budding star won several awards like Glamour Star of the Year, Indian Television Academy Awards, New Talent Awards, The Global Indian TV Honours 2008, Lions Gold Awards, Cinegoer's Award and Kalakar Awards. The names of television shows anchored by Aditya are "X Factor India", "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge", (Year 2007 and 2010), "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs".
