Anant Mahadevan Biography

Anant Mahadevan is a well known actor and director who appears in Hindi and Marathi movies and T.V serials in India. Anant Mahadevan belongs to Kerala, India. He started his career as an actor in Bollywood movies playing small roles here and there. He developed himself as a character actor. He featured in movies like 'Akele Hum Akele Tum', 'Ishq', 'Mann', 'Baadshah', 'Joggers Park' etc. He was also a part of the television series 'The Sword of Tipu Sultan' and 'Ghar Jamai'. He received and shared a National Award for best screenplay and dialogues for the hit Marathi movie 'Mee Sindhutai Sapkal' with Sanjay Pawar. He directed his first Hindi movie in 2002 titled 'Dil Vil Pyar Vyar'. 'Dil Maange More', 'Aksar', 'Anamika' (2008), 'Red Alert' are some of the movies he directed in his career.

He will next be directing 'Gour Hari Dastaan' starring Vinay Pathak and Konkona Sen Sharma.
