Anjan Dutt has proven himself as a director, singer actor and writer.

Anjan Dutt is from Kolkata, West Bengal. He was born to a solicitor. He studies at St Paul's School in Darjeeling which inhaled him to write many songs. He has a master's degree in English Literature from the University of Calcutta.

Dutt was active in theater and was associated with Open Theater.

Anjan Dutt was inhaled by Bob Dylan and Suman Chatterjee's music. His songs include, Maser Prothom Dinta, Duto Manush, Bondhu, Sokal and Darjeeling.

Anjan -- Director & Writer

After directing telefilms like Kanchanajangha and Rudra Sener Diary, he induced English language films like The Bong Connection (2007) and Bow Barracks Forever (2007). He indited the script for both films. While The Bong Connection was about two men finding themselves in different countries, Bow Barracks Forever explored the lives of Anglo Indians.

Chalo Let's Go was a Bengali film about four friends. BBD (2008) starred Naseeruddin Shah. His most recent release Chowrasta : Crossroads of Love (2009) was about four different masses.

Anjan Dutt as an Actor

Anjan Dutt's first experience as an actor was in Chaalchitra (1981). After this he was seen in City of Joy (1992), Shilpi (1993) and Mr & Mrs Iyer (2002) among many others.
