Anurag Sinha Biography

This Indian actor is born on November 22, 1982 in Patna, Bihar. Anurag Sinha completed his schooling from Scindia School in Gwalior and finished his graduation from Delhi-based St. Stephen's College. Post this, Anurag joined the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). Anurag was a champion in basketball and soccer. He was the representative of his school and college in various inter-collegiate and National debate competitions. On different prestigious platforms, Anurag has bagged the Best Speaker award.

Anurag got his first break with the "showman" Subhash Ghai, who has given many budding talents to the Bollywood industry till now. During his journey with FTII, Anurag showed his acting skills in various short films and plays. Anurag Sinha stepped in Bollywood with Subhash Ghai's directorial venture 'Black and white'. In the diploma film, 'Spandan' Anurag essayed the protagonist. This film was picked up for The Sweden Film Festival, Film Festival in Kerala and won the award in the Stuttgart Film Festival in the year 2007. In 2004, the film 'Some Like To Dance' was screened at International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in which Anurag portrayed the protagonist. Some of the plays done by Anurag are "The Expelled", "The Lower Depths" and "Padhiye Kalima". Now, it is being said that Anurag will be featuring in Subhash Ghai's upcoming film on the life of Sarabjit Singh.
