Anushka Manchanda Biography
An Indian model, a singer and ex-VJ on Channel V, Anushka Manchanda was born in Delhi. Anushka was born on February 11, 1985. Manchanda grew up listening to rock n roll music and playing piano. She rose to fame after winning Coke [V] Popstars - a TV talent show, in 2002. Anushka was a part of 'Viva!', an Indian pop girl group. Lateron, owing to differences, the group split away and Anushka stepped in the world of Video Jockeying on Channel [V].
After playing VJ, Anushka entered in playback singing with a Tamil film 'Manmadhan'. Its music was composed by renowned music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja. Anushka sang for the same music composer in the other film-tracks like 'Kudakooli', 'Oh..Oh..Ennanamo', 'Thee Pidikka' and 'Money Money'. She got her first break in Hindi playback singing in the comedy-film 'Golmaal'. The latest track sung by Anushka is 'Naa Jaane' from the film 'I, Me Aur Main', featured on Chitrangada Singh, John Abraham and Prachi Desai.
The multi-faceted Bollywood girl was a judge for TV show, 'Lions of Punjab Presents'. She showcased her sporty attitude by participating in stunt show on small screen, 'Fear Factor: Khantron Ke Khiladi' and won the competition crossing all the dangerous stunts.
