Apoorva Agnihotri Biography
He earned instant name and fame from his key role in the famous television serial, 'Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin'. Apoorva Agnihotri became a household name due to this serial. Born on 2 December, 1972, Apoorva finished his schooling from Kanpur-based Sheiling House school. Then, from Bhavan's college in Mumbai, he received Bachelor of Arts degree in 1993. In the year 2005, he tied the knot with Shilpa Saklani.
The sitcom 'Jassi Jaisa Koi Nahin' featured Apoorva Agnihotri as Armaan Suri and he won Indian Telly Awards Best Actor for his impeccable performance in this. Apart from this, he appeared in the other television series like 'Pati Patni Aur Woh', 'Kaajjal', 'Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai', 'Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi', 'Aasman Se Aage' and 'Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai'. In the dance reality show, 'Nach Baliye', Apoorva was seen shaking a leg with his wife Shilpa Saklani, as the participants.
The blockbuster 'Pardes' was his debut film and he worked along with the stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Mahima Chaudhry in this film in 1997. His role in this flick made him receive a nomination from Zee Cine Awards for Best Supporting Actor. The other films that featured Apoorva include 'Krodh', 'Lakeer', 'Pyaar Diwana Hota Hai', 'Kasoor' and 'Pyaar Koi Khel Nahin'.
At present, Apoorva Agnihotri is seen in the very popular reality television show 'Bigg Boss 7', where he is placed in Hell section and his wife Shilpa is placed in Heaven section in the house of Bigg Boss.
