Arbaaz Khan Biography

Arbaaz Khan is the son of the famous screenwriter Saleem Khan. His brothers are famous actor Salman Khan and actor producer director Sohail Khan. Arbaaz is married to dancer, performer Malaika Arora (Chaiyyaan Chaiyyan and Munni Badnam Hui fame). They have a son named Arhaan. Arbaaz was born on 4th August 1967 in Mumbai and he went to The Scindia School in Gwalior for some years with his elder brother Salman.

Arbaaz began his career in the year 1996 with the film 'Daraar' by playing a negative role of a psychotic wife abuser. His performance got a lot of accolades and he got the Filmfare's best villain award for it. Later, he was seen doing negative and supporting roles in the films like 'Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya' , 'Hello Brother', 'Maa Tujhhe Salaam', 'Qayamat' ,'Kuch Naa Kaho' ,'Garv' ,'Hulchul', 'Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya' ,'Malamaal Weekly' ,'Bhagam Bhag','Shootout At Lokhandwala' ,'Fool N Final' ,'Dhol' ,'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na' ,'Hello' ,'Fashion' and 'Ready'.

In the year 2010, Arbaaz produced and acted in the film 'Dabangg' starring Salman Khan. The film was a blockbuster and got various nominations and awards. He then directed its sequel 'Dabangg 2' which had also been a huge box office success. Arbaaz will be a part of following films in the coming year , 'Lara' ,'Tumhare Liye' ,'Kaynaat'and 'Jeetenge Hum'.
