Celina Jaitley Biography

A former miss India and beauty queen Celina Jaitley is famous for her beautiful eyes and carved body. Born on 24th November 1981, Celina was the winner of a beauty pageant Femina Miss India Universe in 2001. Celina originates from Shimla. Her father Colonel V.K. Jaitly was a Colonel in Indian Army (now retired) and her mother Meeta who is an Afghan by origin is a child psychologist. Her brother too serves the Indian Army. Celina's beauty is inherited from her mother as her mother is also a former beauty queen.

As Celina's father was in the Army, she has grown up in many cities like Lucknow, Kashmir , Cuddalore and Kolkata. She went to City Montessori school in Lucknow and later took a degree from St. Joseph's college in Manjakuppam. When Celina was a teenager, she always wanted to be in the Army either by becoming a doctor or a pilot. But destiny had some other plans for her. When the beauty queen was in college, she started doing modeling assignments and later took part in Miss India Pageant. She won that pageant and later ended up becoming a runner up in the Miss Universe Pageant in the same year.

When Celina was busy in doing beauty competitions, renowned actor and director Feroz Khan noticed her and gave her a lead role in his film 'Janasheen' with his son Fardeen Khan. Later Celina has done many international films and appeared in 2 music videos as well. Her some of the famous Hindi movies are 'Khel','No Entry','Zinda','Apna Sapna Money Money','C Kkompany','Money Hain To Honey Hain','Golmaal Returns','Paying Guests','Accident on Hill road','Hello Darling','Run Bhola Run' and 'Will You Marry Me?' etc. Her performance in the film 'Golmaal Returns' and 'No Entry' was recognized and appreciated by people.

The beautiful actress got married to her long time beau an Australian businessman Peter Hagg on 23rd July 2011. She is now a proud mother of cute twin boys.
