Daisy Bopanna is an actress appearing in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Bollywood films. She was born on December 4, 1982 in Karnataka. Daisy was a student of Aurobindo School and holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Bangalore-based Chitrakala Parishat. The actress is the wife of Amit Jaju, who is a forensic analyst and son of Bollywood producer Prakash Jaju. Daisy Bopanna is the sister of eminent advertising person, Devaiah Bopanna.

The graceful lady earlier had an aspiration to become a copywriter in the advertising field, as she was very brilliant academically. But, she was destined to act in front of the camera, so she decided to put on hold her ambitions.

Daisy commenced her career by venturing into theatre field. She was a part of Spandana theatre camp of B. Jayasri and also actively participated in contemporary English theatre with Preetam Koilpillai. Daisy's first film 'Bimba' entered in the esteemed Berlin and Frankfurt Film Festival and the movie won international awards. Kavitha Lankesh was the director of this film, which narrated the story of child artistes exploitation in the cinema world. The actress bagged the tag of 'Spicy Daisy' for her work in a Kannada movie 'Bhagavan' opposite Darshan.

The name of the actress perfectly suits to her delicate looks. The Tamil films of Daisy include 'Indru Mudhal' (2003) and 'Chakkara Viyugam' (2008). Then, she was casted in the Hindi movie 'Garam Masala' by Priyadarshan. The delicate actress was seen along various big stars like Kamal Haasan, Ganesh, Upendra and Ravi Teja.
